Just wanted to say how proud I am of her, and what a beautiful young lady she has turned out to be. Her father and I are so excited that she made "Babe of the Year"; her talents always shine, on the field and off. Thank you for being such a wonderful daughter.

Mom 1/8/03

Blaire, we love you, and we are so proud of all that you do. Love, Mom & Dad

Abe Emery 1/8/03

Thank you so much, to two wonderful parents! I am so very thankful for all of your love and support, and for always believing in me and teaching me who to believe in. I love you more than you'll ever know.

Blaire (Courtney), Congrats from Snellville! Luv ya, Mike, Diane, Cole and Callie

Mike Norris 1/8/03

Hope to see my second family soon!! Keep my bed open, I miss it!! Love, Courtney

WOW, Blaire!!! Congrats! Your dad told us to see you on the website. It's amazing! He is so proud of you!!! (We are too, as family friends!) Keep up the good work!!! Ronnie & Louann Cook

Ronnie & Louann Cook 1/9/03

It's so good to hear from you both once again! I feel like we've lost touch with so many since we left Snellville, but I'm so thankful for all of your support and encouragement. Go Dawgs!

Your father just e-mailed me this interview and, after reading it, we can understand why your parents are so proud of you. You may remember my family from Grand Rapids. Your father and I started our careers together as young men at American Seating, but you were so young. We have pictures of you as a little girl out next to our pool making ice cream with our basset hound, Lucy. We have been close friends of your parents' and have valued their friendship for the last 20+ years. When we see things like this happen to children of close friends that we have watched grow up through telephone calls, Christmas cards and occasional visits, it sure is a joy. It only reassures us the world will continue to be a better place for my children and their children to live in, just knowing there are young people like yourself out there. Congratulations!

Robert & Karen Coll 1/9/03

It's so nice to hear from people that I have heard so much about growing up. Unfortunately for me, I was so young when I met most of these people that I didn't get the opportunity to know them so well. Thank you for your support and encouragement and for continuing to be such close family friends.

Blaire Shines with beauty and grace. I am so proud of my beautiful and talented young niece.

Trudy Emery 1/10/03

I miss you!! I got to see Scott and Audra for the first time! I think the last time I saw Scott I was under 10 years old! I hope to come to Michigan again sometime--I don't remember what it was like to live there, but I know I have so many family roots there that I'd love to re-visit!

Blaire, your dad forwarded your web page to me and it's teriffic. I am proud to know you and enjoyed seeing you perform at the Auburn /Georgia game last year. Just realized you and Pat share a Birthday; she would be as proud of you as I am. God Bless. Guerry

Guerry Edwards 1/10/03

Thank you for all of your love and support throughout the years. You have been such a blessing to our family.

Now everyone can see what a beautiful woman you are on the outside. and I hope even more people will get to know what a great person you are on the inside as well. God be with you in all you do. lol

J 1/10/03

Thank you for always believing in me and continuing to give me the strength I need. I never gave up on you, and I saw something no one else ever did--thank you for doing the same with me and giving me the encouragement to make my dreams come true. LOL

Blaire, how did you get so good-looking? I've known your dad for thirty years - This is the best football player he ever produced! GO GEORGIA!

Michael Mick 1/10/03

Thank you also for your support! I may not be a football player, but I think my dad has enjoyed being a part of a winning season! Go Dawgs!

Hey, Blaire! This is your older sister from Statesboro, and I just wanted to let you know how proud Rob and I are for you. We knew you were the best. Always remember to keep a smile on your face. You're beautiful and we love you.

Caitlin Kolodzy 1/10/03

knock, knock, knock...is it all clear...okay, I'm coming in your room! Thanks for always being my protective big sister--even if I am 6 inches taller than you!

I work with Blaire's mom in south Texas and I just had to check it out; it all looks great. Have a great day, girl!

Sandy Reed 1/12/03

She is very beautiful and I think the right girl won! Way to go, Blaire!!!

Brooks Durham 1/12/03

Blaire, congrats! I've kept your picture up on the signature portion of my posts on a football fan site for USC and I'm always getting nice comments about how beautiful you are. (...The SFFB Webmaster knows me by now; I think he's mentioned me to you! lol)

Hope the broadcasting thing works out for you; I'm a broadcast major myself, so I'm rooting for you.

Anyway, you're a beautiful girl, and reading that interview you sound like a great person; drop me a line sometime if you're ever in LA or San Diego!

(DomerBG4) 1/13/03

Yes, I have heard that you have used my picture before as an icon...how funny! I'd love to one day go to LA or San Diego...but for now, I'm enjoying my time here in Dawg Country.

Blaire, are you single at this present time, and if you are, would you consider a nice evening out with a great guy and former UGA grad?

Robert Berry 1/13/03

Blaire gets Severed's DawgCandy.com seal of approval... =)

SeveredHead 1/13/03

Marry me...or, better yet, transfer to the University of Florida. :)

Juan Pablo Moreno 1/13/03

I'm sure you've heard, "It's great to ge a Georgia Bulldog", but maybe you haven't heard, "It's great to be a Gator-Hater!" I could NEVER transfer to UF, it would be like disowning my family! But, thank you for checking out the site, and maybe you'll realize why being a bulldog is so much better!!

Congrats, Blaire! You are really representing the Bulldog Nation in a wonderful (and gorgeous) way! Keep up the great work; I hope you are really enjoying your years in Athens and will come back often after you graduate.

Doug 1/13/03

I can already tell that my experience here at UGA has been so rewarding and fullfilling. It is definitely one of my dreams to bring my family back to Athens one day and show them "where mom went to school" and of course raise them to be true bulldog fans!

Awesome! Got to give UGA kudos in the babe deptartment!

Kip Wynne 1/13/03

Hello; how was the Sugar Bowl? Was it as fun as you make it look? ...Would you consider going out with a Gamecock player? Just curious...take care.

Kevin 1/13/03

Yes, the Sugar Bowl was just as much fun as it looks! I hope to one day follow the dawgs to the Fiesta Bowl!

Congrats and best of luck. Go Dawgs!

kt (c/o 98)

kt 1/13/03

Congratulations. Looks like you are having a great time in college and doing excellent. I know your mom and dad are very proud of you. Keep up the great job you are doing and good luck with everything.

Shirley and Gary Hebert 1/13/03

Greetings in Alaska!! I hope all is well (and warm)! Thank you for your response, it was great to hear from you!

Congrats, Blaire! You're certainly representing UGA well. And don't give up on being the "next Katie Couric or Kelly Ripa"...not too long ago I was a UGA football player with similar dreams. Now I'm living in Cali making those dreams come true. Good luck with everything!

Ben

Ben Dukes 1/13/03

Thank you so much for your encouraging note. I know the field of broadcasting is so competitive, but I am faithful in believing that dreams can come true, and I'm also patient to see how they will unfold. Congratulations on following your dreams and with your success!

Blairzy, you look hot!!! I can't even believe that you are the FOOTBALL BABE!!! (Well, of course I can; you are to die for!) Keep being beautiful! You know whose image you were created in!

Bevin 1/13/03

You are awesome! I love all of our memories and stories we have together (twins)! Thank you for such an amazing friendship! You have been so encouraging and inspiring to me, and I know that I have been truly blessed to have you in my life. Phil. 1:3

Way to go, Blaire! We are all so proud of you!!!

Love, Your pledge class

Kim Lewis 1/13/03

Go, Dawgs!!!

Nathan Sampler 1/14/03

Did you enjoy the male baton twirler for FSU? How would you grade him on his twirling? He had a certain "Siegfried & Roy" aspect about him, didn't he? Much like Flag Boy for GA Tech.

Billy Ramsbottom 1/14/03

I have actually seen the guy twirler perform before at competitions, so when I saw him at FSU, I wasn't surprised. He's definitely very good, but I wonder if he ever gets comments like the "Flag Boy" at GA Tech ever got??

I think Blaire is a very nice girl with good morals. She is an amazing leader and possibly one of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. Congratulations on being voted the babe of the year. You're awesome.

Emma Jones 1/14/03

Emma-Lou, "my ice cream is cold!" I love you! I wish we weren't so far away, but I know the best thing about our friendship is that no matter how much time we spend away from each other, whenever we meet again, things never seem to change! Congratulations on "your list!" :)

Hi Blaire,

Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday! And tell you congrats on being the "Babe" of the year. See you on the 2nd - good luck at Miss UGA. You are in our prayers.

Take care, Terry and Carl

Terry and Carl Kolodzy 1/14/03

Thank you for checking out the site! I look forward to seeing you after the pageant!

Happy Birthday Blaire!!!

Hope you had a great day.

Love ya, Landon

Landon Burton 1/14/03

Maintenance man of the year, "Cocky want a cracker", Alex City talk of the town, Ooops-a-daisy!

Blaire, happy birthday!!! Congratulations on winning Babe of the year! You are a beautiful girl and I enjoyed meeting you! Hope to see you again soon!

Love, Nancy

Nancy Burton 1/14/03

It was so nice to meet you over the break! Keep an eye on my sister; I know she gets a little out of hand once in a while! :)

Blaire, I met you at your sister's and church on Christmas Eve. Nancy Burton told me about this honor. Your pictures are beautiful! Hope you are doing great! Proud of you!

Karen Eiland 1/14/03

Yes, I'm glad you got a chance to check out the site, and I do remember meeting you on Christmas Eve. I love Alex City, and I hope to come back and visit again soon!

I know Emma Jones (Mema Bones). You need to come up to Furman so I can meet you; I'm much cooler than Ryan...from Sam

Sam 1/14/03

So, how is life at Furman!? I'm hoping to make a roadtrip over there to see Emma soon--so I guess I can make my opinions then about how you compare to Ryan! :-)

Blaire, you'll always be a babe in my heart. I love you!

Cathy

Cathy Jones 1/15/03

Thanks for your love and support throughout all of the years! Hope all is going well with you and with the kids!! Miss you!

How's it going, Blaire? My name's Jeff and I'm from Texas. I know your mom very well. She works with my mom at Pearland High School. I saw your picture in her office and I asked about you. She told me about your website and told me I should e-mail you to say what's up. Well, I hope to hear back from you.

Jeff

Jeff Robinson 1/15/03

Hey, thanks for checking out the site! How's life in Texas? I really like it there whenever I get a chance to go visit--which, unfortunately is not very often. I'm hoping though to maybe be in Austin this summer!

Good choice!

C Rogers 1/16/03

Congratulations! Pearland High School feels like we have a celebrity in our midst! (...Well, maybe the mother of a celebrity!)

Marian Scott 1/16/03

Hi,

I'm sitting talking to your mom and dad - former classmates of mine at OHHS. We're getting ready for dinner and then a movie. Your dad says "hi" and he "loves Blairzy". Your dad was bragging on you and told me to look this up. I'm glad you look like your mom and not your dad (just kidding). Have a great day. You have a great web page and are a very beautiful young lady. Go, Dawgs! Jerry Horan - OHHS 1967

bigjerry67 1/18/03

That's great that you and my parents can still keep in touch---I hope that I will keep in touch with people I graduated with in years to come! Thanks for checking out the site!

Hey, Blaire!!!

Congrats from 'Georgette' Lindsay. You are an awesome person and I'm glad you received this honor. You are not only a great representative for the Redcoat auxiliaries, but for the University as well! Good luck at Miss UGA...I'll be rootin' for ya! Love ya, Lindsay

Lindsay Ivey 1/19/03

Thanks for checking out the site!!! I've had so much fun with you the past two years! Keep working on Glory--you can come back for homecoming and do the routine with me someday!! Take care--love you!!!

One reason I'm a UGA fan? Babes like Blaire! Her eyes look better than the football team beating Yech 51-7 :)

Swains 1/23/03

Congrats, Blaire! I am glad to see you've grown your hair out...it looks awesome. I found some pics of you and I at Mercer and hope if I ever get down from Canada, I will see you twirling away at a game. Keep smiling, gorgeous!

canada 1/25/03

Hey sarah! It's been SO long since we've seen each other, but it's so good to hear from you!! I'm sure those pictures with Robert and Robby are a little scary...haha---but those were fun times! Hope you're doing well, it's so good to hear from you!

Hey Blaire,

I mailed you a card but it came back to me mutilated. "Happy birthday" late, via your website. I love you and miss you. I do not have a computer, so just tell your mom if you received this... Have a great year and I hope to see you this summer. kisses kisses

Marnie Semeyn 1/26/03

From the Princess BRAT--I'm so sad I didn't get to receive your birthday card, but if it makes you feel any better, my parent's card is still somewhere lost in mail world! I miss seeing you--we'll have to plan another trip where we can get together soon! Take care and I love you!

Hey, Blairzy!

Just saw your page. Love it! I always knew you had it in you. Glad to see that a great girl such as yourself can win an award like this. It seems nowadays that the "babe of the year" is always a big-chested ditz with no substance. Glad to see that you've gotten a few proposals out of this deal. Don't be a stranger to old Alex City. You know you are always welcome. You are a "Babe" in my book, even though I married the prettiest of the Emery Sisters :)

How about a big War Eagle!!!

Your overprotective Brother-in-Law 1/27/03

Brink---

so you aren't just the overprotective brother in law, but you're also my financial supporter!! JK I'm looking forward to coming back to Alex City soon for Brinkley's birthday---I'm sure she misses her aunt Blaire (only because I let her sleep in her bathing suit) Thanks for all of your support and being the big brother I never had!

As a Journalism major, have you ever thought about being a sideline reporter for college or NFL football...like they have on Monday Night Football? As attractive as you are, you would be a natural.

Gene Abrams 1/27/03

I would DEFINITELY consider doing sideline reporting for the NFL!! I've actually enterained the thought of sports communication and doing sports broadcasting. I think Jill Arrington who does sports broadcasting for CBS has a terrific job doing sideline reporting for college games---if you have any connections, let me know! :-)

Just wanted to say good luck at the Miss UGA pageant this weekend. You don't really need luck, as you will always be a winner with us.

Love, Your Parents

dad & mom 1/28/03

You're the most fun and beautiful girl I know. I miss you so much and all the great times we had together (especially in Florida!!!) Watch over "our guys" for me and don't forget about your friends way over here in 'Bama! Love you, girl!!!

Rachael 1/30/03

I miss you so much and our random things we used to enjoy doing together-nothing will beat the memories of last year! I hope we can get together soon!! Love you and Miss you!!

I couldn't be happier with the selection of this years BABE OF THE YEAR. Blaire, you are a very beautiful lady. Thanks for letting Pack and the guys take your photo. Hope to see ya here next year!

Paul 1/31/03

Glad you enjoyed the site, thanks for checking it out!

I was looking at your pics and the joke I say sometimes popped into my head. I've got this running joke with some friends of mine here at WVU. Basically it's just a saying I use when we go to the bars and don't see very many good-looking women around. I use it when we all come to the conclusion that there are few good-looking women where we are; I look at one of my buds and say "I love WVU with all my heart. I'm proud to be a West Virginian, but it's times like these I wish I went to Georgia."

Good luck.

Jay Gerber 2/1/03

Well, I don't think it's just the girls that people come to Georgia for...haha...but obviously I love this school more than anything! If you get a chance, you should definitely come see what Athens is all about!

Hi, Blaire...

Just wanted to say "congrats", and let you know I was the one who actually took the picture of you on the sidelines that evening. Packman usually takes the pics, but he gave me the sideline pass that evening and I have to say I took advantage of the situation...you go, girl!

Hope to see you somewhere on the tour next year.

Brian 2/5/03

Well, thank you very much for taking my picture at the GA/FLA game. Before the website was made I saw that picture on several different GA links and wondered where it came from! I've enjoyed working with SFFB, and hope to see ya'll on tour next season!

Hello, Blaire. My name is Megan. I am in first grade in Mrs. Norton's class. My teacher is your sister. I love you, Blaire. I want to twirl a baton like you, one day. You are very pretty! My teacher says that I am pretty, too! Can I wear a costume like your UGA Majorette costume? I like it very much!

I have to go to reading now. Take care and come and see me!

Love, Megan

Megan 2/6/03

Dear Megan,

Thank You so much for looking at the site. You have the best first grade teacher EVER! I hope I get to meet you someday soon in Ms. Norton's class, maybe I can come one afternoon and show you how to twirl the baton. Keep up the good work in school!

Love, Blaire

The hardest thing in the world for me to say is this: I graduated from Clemson last August and am a die-hard Clemson fan. But, Blaire has forced me to pursue a Bachelor's degree from Georgia. Guess I'll just have to deal with it.

Matthew Eller 2/7/03

Goooooooo Dawgs!!!!!

Congratulations on being named the Southern Fried Football Babe of the Year. As you know, you faced stiff competition, but you rose to the top. You are a very pretty young lady. Best wishes on the rest of your school year.

Steve 2/7/03

Glad to see one of UGA's own taking top prize! Congratulations!! GO DAWGS!!!

Robb 2/9/03

Do you date cowboys?

Bubba 2/10/03

I'm also fond of firemen...

Congrats on being the Southern Fried Football Babe of the year. I think you are very deserving. I too am a dawg through and through and now reside in Atlanta. So if you're ever in Atlanta give me a call (678) 641-6613. It would be an honor to meet you.

Rusty Snow 2/10/03

Looks good, Blaire; I hope you're having a great time in Athens. See you around the bend.

joel 2/10/03

Good times at SUMC! Late night at Shoney's, Putt-putt golf, Brisco Park, Stone Mountain Train Rides, Mary and Joseph, long talks, Dave Matthews Band, guitars; I love the memories and wish you the best--sure do miss you around!

Wow, Blaire; it's been so long since I've seen you! You've really grown up. Well, I'm just proud to see you wearing Red and Black, and that you're having so much success! I wish you, Brooke, Julie, Caitlin and your parents all of the best. I'm living in San Diego now, so perhaps when I'm back in town or come to see a game, I'll try to say hello! Go Dawgs!

P.S. I couldn't help but smile when I learned from your interview on this site that Brooke has kid(s)! It's so weird---I remember all of us swimming at your pool like it was yesterday. We were all so young!

Take care, Dorian

Dorian Willhite 2/12/03

It's crazy what a small world it is! It's been a while since 1993?....wow...good to hear that you are doing well, and my family says to tell you hello and best wishes!! Hope to see you out at a GA game soon!

I agree that you were chosen for this title. You are easily one of the most beautiful girls I have seen at UGA. And what separates you from the rest of the girls is that you are not only extremely hot with the bestest hair in the whole wide world, but that you are so fun to talk to and such a pleasure to be around. You are definitely the BABE of the Year!!!

Brian 2/24/03

Brian,
Sure do love those early mornings with Saunt and Kim...I'm really glad though we've gotten to share this class with each other because you are so much fun! And thanks for keeping me awake in class, even though I try to keep it interesting with my markers. Fruit snacks or pretzel sticks??

Hey, Blaire - it's your cousin Josh; great job and congrats. Hope you are lovin' every minute of this. Good luck with everything else......Peace

Josh Maichele 2/24/03

Josh,
Wow, Long time no see!! I hope all is going well for you in Michigan---I bet you miss the Georgia weather though, because I know I for one, I don't miss Michigan weather any day!! I'd love to make a trip back up there though to see everyone. Take care!!

Tucker and Spencer sure miss their nanny. Hope to see you soon, and hope you can come by and see them when you're in your town. Go BullFrogs or whatever y'all's mascot is.

Coach Wells

coach 2/26/03

Coach,
Sure do miss those fun summer days in Houston!! Hope you're holding down the fort at Pearland!! I'll be sure to stop by when I'm in town next----and don't forget, I think UGA was somewhere in the top 3 ranking and I don't remember seeing any UT....hmmmmmmmm......
The Nanny

Hey Blaire,

Just wanted to say I've seen your pictures on-line and you are smokin'. Where are you from? Are you a UGA cheerleader still? ...Keep up the good work.

Rob Cangialosi 2/27/03

Thanks for checking out the site! I'm originally from Snellville, Georgia---close to Atlanta. I'm not exactly a UGA cheerleader, I'm a majorette---meaning, I twirl the batons, but that doesn't mean that I don't cheer on the bulldogs!

Blaire has received SO
many responses, we've
had to add a second page!
