Welcome to our brand-new pride and joy: the SFFB's "Virtual Greeting Card" server!

Just follow the easy instructions below to create and send as many free e-cards as you see fit. The cards are stored in a non-indexed directory, so only you and the recipient will know how to find them (this directory is also secure from spammers - so send your card knowing that you will not end up on any junk list!). After you have completed the card, you will be shown a "preview" of exactly what it will look like; at this point, you will be able to edit it, send it, or just cancel the request. Once you are satisfied with the finished product and hit "send", the recipient will receive an e-mail advising them of where to pick up their card.

Notice that there are no obnoxious ads, anywhere!
We're in this solely to help out our fellow man.

For those fortunate Southern Fried Football Tour participants who may not be feeling particularly inspired after a weekend of revelry on the road, here is a sample script to help get you started off: (Feel free to cut-and-paste it directly; we can discuss my royalties at a later date...)

Good morning, Honey!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you once again for allowing me to take part in Packman's Southern Fried Football Tour. While I'm sure you realize that I miss you terribly whenever we're apart, I feel that our relationship can only benefit from my occasional bonding with other men who love and respect their partners as much as I do.

This weekend was like a breath of fresh air; we basked in our fellowship as we sang spirituals, did a little sightseeing, partook in some of the indigenous cuisine and reflected upon how fortunate we are to be coming home to such beautiful and intelligent women (...oh, yeah; and I think there was some kind of "football" game, or something - but you know that these things aren't very important to me).

Love, Your "Pooh-Bear"

PS - Sorry about missing each other, this morning; it's totally unlike me to oversleep like that, huh? I'm hoping I didn't catch anything when we stopped off to help out with the fundraiser at that orphanage...

That should cover you for the hangover, too! (If all else fails, you can always offer to take her out for dinner; it may be an unexpected expense...but it will have been worth it, no?)

STEP #1: Pick a theme...
Please choose a picture from the list below, using the little "radio button" selector. You may pick only one picture per card. (To get a better look, click on any picture to view it full-sized in a separate window.)

The Talent

The locals were so accommodating; they seemed more than happy to take us in...

The Superb Fare

Talk about an epicurean fantasy! Our trip was catered by the famous Bubba's BBQ.

The Luxurious Transportation

We were riding in style, baby! Wish you could've been there.

The Hospitality Parking

...situation at the stadium was atrocious! You'd think that the universities involved would plan this stuff out a little better.

Our Driver

What a congenial host! He always kept the comfort of his passengers in mind.

I Want ME Some o' THAT!

No doubt about it - if you want to make me happy, just pick up a few pieces of SFFB merchandise for me; they make the perfect gift for any occasion!

"The QCB" is getting SO popular!

We were very surprised to find that a fan of his followed us all the way from Charlotte...

We'll be adding more pictures throughout the season.
If you've got one that would make a good "e-card"...
Send it to us!

STEP #2: Enter name and e-mail info...
(Please be certain of the recipient's address!)

Your name:
Your e-mail address:
Recipient's name:
Recipient's e-mail address:

STEP #3: Select your text and background...
Using the "pulldowns" below, choose the colors of your text and card background; keep in mind that you'll want to make sure that they contrast enough to be legible! (...Don't sweat it too much, though; it's really easy to change something, if it doesn't look right.) By default, the background for the page behind the card will feature our little "Southern Fried" footballs (just like you see here); if you wanna get all artistic and stuff, you may choose your own texture for the page, as well.

Text     Background

...and, optionally...
  texture:

STEP #4: Enter your title and message...
Feel free to say whatever you want! Effective communication is all about making yourself understood, my friends (in other words: the sponsors won't be able to see these - so you can cuss like a WNBA player, if you'd like!). You may also use HTML.

Card Title:
Your Message:

STEP #5: Sign your card...

Examples: • "Love, Pookums"
• "Sincerely, Matt Biondi"
• "Hurry back, from The Guys at the Clinic"
Your Signature:

STEP #6: Choose some musical accompaniment...
(important note: Most of of these clips are huge-ass files! I would recommend using one only if the recipient has a high-speed connection, such as DSL or a cable modem; someone using a conventional, "dial-up" ISP is not likely to hang around long enough on their virtual greeting card for the song to even finish loading!)

Pick a fight song:

STEP #7: Proceed to "preview", or start over...
You are now ready to check out your card! To do so, simply click on the "preview" button, below. If you want to clear the form and start anew, select "reset". Your card will not be sent until you press the "SEND-CARD" button on the preview screen.
