On 9/12, you asked:

"Could the N.C. State Wolfpack be a more overrated team? I've never heard more fans be so cocky about a team that has not, and will not win a damn thing. If the loss to Wake didn't shut them up, then the butt whippin' that they're about to receive in Columbus will."

- Jonathan Weathers

And Pack replied:

"It was certainly a disappointing loss for the Pack in Winston-Salem, but the most over-rated team at this point in the season is Auburn. The Sporting News had them as their #1 team in the country, and right now they are 0-2, and they've scored 3 points in the first 120 minutes of play in the 2003 season. Also keep in mind that college football is so unpredictable, that every Saturday gives us something to shake our head about...I can't wait to see what happens next! Enjoy the games this weekend..."

- Packman

On 9/17, you asked:

"You've been to many schools over the last several years. Sports Illustrated has recently come out with a "best college towns" list and ESPN's College Gameday has a similar list. What towns would you rank highest and why. Also, who has the best "babes" (volume, quality, best dressed, etc)?"

- Wes

And Pack replied:

"Wes...Thanks for the email...It is funny that you mention that list...I am in the process of putting together my own list of 'pros' and 'cons', based on our Southern Fried Football™ Tour travels...Be sure to check back on the site, and I will unveil the 'Best and Worst of the South'..."

- Packman

On 10/9, you asked:

"Hey, thanks for the many beautiful babes representing the Pack - but as much as it pains me to admit it, you guys are missing out on the best looking women in the Southeast. You need to head on down to ECU. Damn, those are the best looking women I have ever seen."

- Wolfpack

And Pack replied:

"Thanks for the question...I'm looking forward to making a Southern Fried Football™ Tour stop in Greenville for an ECU game...and of course, as soon as the Pirates are eligible, we'll check the schedule. ECU is currently on 'Southern Fried Football™ Probation', so the earliest we can make it to the Eastern part of the state will be in 2004. Thanks for the note and good luck to your Pirates."

- Packman

On 10/28, you asked:

"With 4 minutes left in the game at WVU, they had the ball on their own 45 facing a 4th and 4 and they punted! This team, with all-world talent, #3 in the BCS, just up and quit! So my question to you, Packman, is this: have you ever seen a team ranked so high just up and quit like the cHOKIES did last Wednesday, Oct. 22?"

- Jay Gerber

And Pack replied:

"I was surprised that the Hokies punted, too...I think Beamer had seen enough of his guys getting kicked around by WVU. It was a great win for Rich and his players."

- Packman

On 11/18, you asked:

"I am a Wofford College graduate and consider them to be one of, if not the best I-AA team this year; how would they rank in the mix with I-A schools, in your opinion?"

- Jim Gragg

And Pack replied:

"Jim...It has been a great year for the Terriers...10-1, the Southern Conference championship...there is no denying Wofford's place in the 1-AA Playoffs this year...and yes, they should have been in it last year, too. When you are the champion of the Southern Conference, you will be a factor in the Playoffs...Thanks for the note and good luck!"

- Packman

On 5/20, you asked:

"Hey Pack, what's your take on Charlie down in Clemson? I'm 30 years old, so I have seen the good times and the post-F.S.U. times. I really have a good feeling about this QB. I think he just may have the intangable IT...I'm excited about this guy. He is a leader, plus he just happens to be pretty damn good. That's a rare combination for a C.U. quarterback. We have always had a runner or a thinker, you know FORD'S OPTION MEN. But Charlie Whitehurst has shown it all. Thanks for everything you and your men do for us the community and listeners."

- Nick In Anderson

And Pack replied:

"Nick...Thanks for the email. Charlie is the 'real deal'. He has a solid arm, smarts and has great poise...I love his upside not only at CU, but also at the next level in the NFL. I'm curious to see how the Tigers handle the expectations of the 2004 season...we'll know early, given how tough the schedule is in the first 6 weeks."

- Packman

On 9/15, you asked:

"This is an invitation rather than a question, I wish you guys would consider going back to the roots of true Southern Football and do a tour stop at the Father league of all southern conferences--The Southern Conference, this is an invite to visit the Wofford-Furman game on Nov. 13. Hope you can make it, Go Terriers."

- Jim Gragg

And Pack replied:

"Jim...Thanks for the email and the invite. We've made a few trips to Boone in the past and have always enjoyed the scenery and atmosphere of a Southern Conference game. In fact, one of the games, App. State-Furman, is still the greatest finish ever of a Southern Fried Football Tour ballgame. We plan on being back on the road every week during the 2005 season, and look forward to another Southern Conference game. Thanks for the invite and continued success to the boys in Spartanburg."

- Packman

On 8/20, you asked:

"I noticed that on your archived records page AUBURN lost every game you showed up at (although you had a win last season but nothing could ruin last season) my question: DO you consider yourself a bad luck charm for the Auburn Tigers. If so please don't put us on your schedule, I will still listen!!"

- Brian Brand

And Pack replied:

"Nah...Plus, we have too much fun on the loveliest village on the Plains to kick Auburn off the Tour schedule. It was a tough choice to pick A&M @ Clemson over the Georgia Tech - Auburn game to start the '05 season. Thanks for the note and good luck to your Tigers."
